Submission Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit their original, high-quality empirical and review papers electronically in PDF format using the IEEE conference template. ICMCEL accepts two main categories of submissions (short papers & long papers), along with workshop papers (with poster presentations), all of which undergo rigorous double-blind peer review and follow identical review and publication procedures.

Long Paper

Long papers should present significant, original, and complete research that has not been previously published. Where applicable, they should include thorough evaluation and analysis. Maximum of six (6) pages in 2-column format, including figures, tables, and references.

Short Paper

Short papers should report original, unpublished work with a concise and focused contribution. Note that a short paper is not simply an abbreviated version of a long paper, but rather a compact presentation of a specific idea or result. Maximum of four (4) pages in 2-column format, including figures, tables, and references.

Workshop Paper

ICMCEL 2025 features several workshops across diverse areas. Visit the workshop page to find the one that best aligns with your research. Workshop papers are typically limited to two (2) pages in a two-column format, including figures, tables, and references. However, poster submissions will be allowed later if the paper is accepted.

Double-Blind Review Process

Submitted papers must not include author names or affiliations. Self-citations that could reveal the identity of the authors, such as “We previously showed (Smith, 1991),” should be avoided. Instead, use neutral wording like “Smith previously showed (Smith, 1991).” Authors should not refer to materials that are unavailable to reviewers for additional details. All supplementary content, including links to code or data repositories, must be anonymized. File-sharing services that can track downloads, such as Dropbox, are not permitted. Submissions that do not follow these rules will be rejected without review.

Any suspected cases of plagiarism will be handled according to the conference’s policies on plagiarism, copyright violation, moral rights infringement, and simultaneous submissions.
